TITLE: SOP FOR MOISTURE BALANCE DATE:

1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To establish a standard operating procedure for MOISTURE BALANCE.

2.0 Scope:
This procedure is applicable for VDFIL MOISTURE BALANCE.

3.0 Responsibility:
3.1 Plant Operator shall be responsible for following the procedure strictly.
3.2 Plant Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring that the SOP followed properly.

4.0 PRECAUTION:
4.1 Concern personnel should be trained on the SOP.
4.2 Proper documentation should be made.

5.0 PROCEDURE FOR OPERATING:

5.1 Switch ON or plugged-in properly to supply Electric Power wait for ready to test.

5.2 The machine is set temperature 100°c and time 5 minute.

5.3 Open the cover of the machine and place the sample plat and press TARE/RESET button.

5.4 Place 5 gm of sample and close the cover of the machine and press START/STOP button .

5.5 The moisture balance display result (% of moisture) of the sample automatically after 5

minutes.
