CHAPTER IV

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter includes the tabular presentation of

gathered data, analysis and interpretation of obtained

results.

1. Scores of survey questionnaires

The following tables show the distribution of scores of

pupils in pre-test and post-test :

The table above shows the scores of group A. It is

noticeable that twelve or 54.55% of Group A have low

knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world; seven or 31.82%

have moderate knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world;

two or 9.09% have high knowledge in Nationalism in gendered

world; one or 4.55% have knowledge in Nationalism in

gendered world; and none of the pupils in Group A has very

high knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world. With the

computed mean which is equal to 11.95454545 which implied

that the respondents of experimental group have low

knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world. Attributed to

this result could be the fact that the people in group A did

not possess conceptual knowledge in Nationalism in gendered

world

The table above shows the scores of Group B. It is

noticeable that thirteen or 59.09% of Group B low knowledge

in Nationalism in gendered world; seven or 31.82% have

moderate knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world; 2 or

9.09% have high knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world;

and none of the pupils in Group B have very low and very

high knowledge in Nationalism in gendered world. With the

computed mean which is equal to 11.95454545 which implied

that the respondents of control group have low knowledge in

Nationalism in gendered world. Attributed to this result

could be the fact that the Group B did not possess

conceptual knowledge in nationalism in gendered world.

Table 1.3 shows the distribution of scores of Group A

in the gender equality can affect the nationalism.

The table above shows the scores of Group A. Sixteen or

72.73% of Group A believe that gender equality can affect

the nationalism; five or 22.73% believe that gender

equality can affect the nationalism; one or 4.55% believe

that gender equality can affect the nationalism; and none

of the Group A has low and very low believe that gender

equality can affect the nationalism. With the computed mean

which is equal 26 which prove that the gender equality can

affect the nation.

Table 1.4 shows the distribution of scores of Group B

in the gender equality can affect the nationalism.

The table above shows the scores of Group B in survey

questionnaires. Nine or 40.91% have high and moderate

believe that gender equality has effect in nationalism; four

or 18.18% have very believe that gender equality has effect

in nationalism; and none of the pupils in Group B has low

and very low believe that gender equality has effect in

nationalism. With the mean which is equal to 21.09090909

which prove that group B believe that gender equality has

effect in nationalism

Aside from the statistical findings, there were notable

observations. The group A and B was not in favor in dominant

gender nationalism.

Difference between Group A and B believing that

nationalism has effect in gendered world

Table 2 presents the answer to the question posed

in the study which is to find out if there is a

difference between the opinion of the group A and B.

The table above shows that there is a significant

difference between the opinion of group A and B after they

have been ask to answer the questionnaires. The computed t-

value which is 7.546 is greater than the critical value or

tabular value which is 2.018 at 5% level of significance.

The result indicates the beliefs of group A have a

significant difference than group B. The mean of group A in

the questionnaires which is 11.95454545 is less than the

mean of the same group in the questions which is

21.09090909.

2. Difference between the gender inequality and gender

equality in nation

Table 3 presents the answer to the question posed in

the study which is to find out if there is a difference

between the gender inequality and gender equality in

nation

The table above shows that there is a significant

difference between the gender inequality and gender equality

in nation. The computed t-value which is 12.884 is greater

than the critical value or tabular value 2.018 which is at

5% level of significance. The result indicates that the

respondents believe that there are differences between the

gender inequality and gender equality in nation

Difference between the use Machismo and feminism

in the nation.

Table 4 presents the answer to the question posed

in the study which is to find out if there is a

difference between the use Machismo and feminism in the

nation.

The table above shows that there is a significant

difference between the attained scores of two groups (a and

B) after they have been asked to answer the survey

questionnaires, hence the computed t-value which is 4.048 is

greater than the tabular value which is 2.021 at 5% level of

significance. The result indicates that Group A and B

believe that there are a great difference in Machismo and

Feminism. The mean of the group A which is 26 is greater

than the mean of the group B which is 21.09090909.
