Energy can come from wind and water also. My Energy - song and dance by The Laurie Berkner
Band
Energy is all around us even though we
can't see it.
Explore:
This set of activities is designed to get students thinking about where and how they see energy
in action every day. The easiest way to observe energy being used is through movement but
encourage students to notice when movement creates other effects such as sound (stomping
your feet) or heat (rubbing your hands together).
What are some things you do that need energy? (run, jump, play, smile, clap...) Animals use
energy to move and play also. We are going to sing about some animals who are trying to
figure out what they can do with their bodies.
