“My advice to the students here today is more on finding out their purpose in life, believing in
themselves and take action. Whatever challenges they will experience, don’t ever (ever) give up.
Give up is not a word. Challenges will make them better – make them stronger,” Mills said.
She also encouraged the students who are facing financial challenges in their education, to find
ways in order for them to finish their chosen profession.
Mills: “For students, who are struggling about financial, they must find more ways on how they
can pay for they education because that is just a stepping stone for them to be better in the
future. Kasi if they are not finding ways, how can they finish it? Finding either a part-time
job kahit ma-prolong ‘yung kanilang education, as long as they are learning something – they
have to continue and don’t give up.”
