Communicating Expectations

Whole Group Communication

Never be afraid to voice your

opinions & ideas. Our classroom is a
safe space for all!

Listen while others are speaking.

Don't talk over them. Wait your turn!

Always be respectful of your

classmates. Sometimes our opinions
differ and that's okay.

Make eye contact and/or facial

expressions when someone is
speaking & show you are actively
listening.

Don't be a distraction! Show that

you care about what your classmate
has to say.
Communicating Expectations
Small Group Communication

Use your indoor voice. You don't

want to distract other groups from
their great ideas!

Give everyone a chance to speak and

communicate their ideas within the
group.

Listen actively. It's important to hear

what everyone has to say.

Stay on task. Make sure you are

getting your work done & not
veering off task.

Be respectful of everyone's ideas.
