An infographic is a visual representation of students’ ideas.

It is optional for
students to make a short infographic on their country and country’s main
perspective. Instead of including every country’s position paper, why not just
include their infographics? The infographic will allow participants to quickly
grasp their ideas and enable them to debate and discuss it. The following
information can be included in their infographic:

A) A general description of your country (50 words)

B) Your country’s perspective following this order:
1. Resolution
2. Value
3. Criteria
4. Thesis
5. List of Recent actions
6. List of Actions your government would support

An example of (B):

Resolution: The U.S.A believes that the global world needs to do more to combat
racism, intolerance and xenophobia.

Value: All human beings are created equal and are born with the inherent right to be
treated respectfully

Criteria:
1) no one should be unfairly forced against their will
2) everyone has equal access to resources, opportunities, the enjoyments of life.
3) Government should be transparent about its failings, expose problems, and be
committed to change

Full Thesis: Governments should devote themselves to combating racism, intolerance,

and xenophobia by ensuring no person or group is forced against his will and
everyone has equal accesses to all the resources, opportunities, and enjoyments that
everyone else has because only by doing this can we uphold the principle that all
human beings are created equally.

Recent actions the United States has taken:

1) Advancing racial equity in the federal government by promoting equal
participation in government
2) Condemnation by government of poor treatment of Asian, Africans, and Pacific
Islanders
3) Comprehensive assessment of internal terrorism
4) Creation of the position of chief diversity and inclusion officer to align policies
and create new programs
5) Making equal treatment of all human beings a US foreign policy goal.
6) Supporting historically marginalized people around the world.
7) Calling for action at the UN Human Rights Council

Actions the US government would support by the UN:

1) An audit regarding increasing incidents of the problem around the world
2) Condemnation of governments and organizations posing grave threats to the
existence of other groups or people.
3) Establishment of a timeline with clear, specific objectives to be achieved by all
member states
