Instructions: This report is a global assessment of the Student Teacher’s progress to date. Based on your observations, please indicate the
degree of development of the Student Teacher in each of the following domains. The ‘Guide to PC Development’ and the ‘PC Rubric’ may prove
useful in this task. Contextualizing comments may be included in the ‘Comments’ section below. The completed Interim Report should always
be reviewed and discussed in person with the Student Teacher.

The Student Teacher has selected and discussed aspects of their Field Experience to date (e.g. LES, evidence of
student learning, self-assessments) for inclusion in their lesson planning log book (or logbook for B.Ed. Phys
Ed) that show evidence of ongoing insight into their professional development.

Comments:
Thomas demonstrates an accurate knowledge of the subject areas taught. He has an understanding of the curriculum, subject content and the
developmental needs of the students.

Thomas collaborates effectively. He incorporates the recommendations and suggestions given to him by his co-operating teacher and Supervisor
and is able to make adjustments when necessary.

Thomas consistently demonstrates professionalism in his planning and delivery of lessons. He uses a variety of student centered strategies to
ensure students are engaged in lessons effectively. He models, demonstrates and provides clear examples for his students. He motivates his
students while maintaining a firm tone to clearly articulate behavioral expectations during class.

Overall, Thomas is performing very well and continues to exhibit a strong presence in the classroom.
