Comments:
Thomas has had a successful Field Experience at ****. He is punctual, reliable, and has a very professional manner. Thomas has a solid
understanding of the curricula (he teaches two grade levels) and is confident and effective when teaching from the workbooks in both Math and
English Language Arts. The students are very comfortable with Thomas and enjoy interacting with him both in class and during unstructured times.

Due to Covid 19, it is difficult for us to truly assess 'activities of the school community' this year, since there are no extra-curricular activities, no field
trips, no assemblies, etc. We do feel, however, that Thomas would participate actively in the school community, if the situation were different. He is
personable, and interacts well with other staff members. He is quick to accept any chores, tasks or other activities delegated to him. Thomas
willingly accepts feedback and does so, graciously. He is exceptionally reflective and sends detailed summaries of the week to his Supervisor,
always looking at what went well and what he might do differently. Thomas is ambitious in his choice of lessons to teach and incorporates technology
whenever possible. He links his lessons to classroom themes and student interests, always encouraging active participation among the students.
He is developing a repertoire of "attention grabbers" and is working on his classroom management skills.

One goal for Thomas would be to ask more questions and to seek guidance when necessary. We would like to see Thomas work towards showing
more initiative during daily routines and tasks. That would be preferable rather than waiting for his Cooperating Teacher to ask him to complete a
task.

Thomas attended an LGBTQ workshop during a recent PED day, and really shows a great deal of interest in professional development.
We look forward to Thomas' continued success in FE3 and his progress in further developing the Professional Competencies.
Keep up your high interest in education and your strong efforts, Thomas!
