Ankara Station Annual Work Plan for the year 2013

General Goal

1. To Contribute in achieve South Sudan foreign policy in Turkey.

2. To create effective intelligence relations with friendly and counterparts in Turkey.
3. To plan intelligence awareness for all foreigners intelligence activities that taking place at
host country.
4. To collect specific intelligence information and take lead for positive intelligence in host
country.
5. To organize with Turkey [MIT] External intelligence for training courses NSS staff for
the capacity building.

Activities for achieving Goals

Goal [1] Diplomatic Relation

 To establish bilateral relation with friendly and other counterparts at host country.
 Exchange of intelligence information with friendly and counterparts in Turkey.
 Evaluate the negative and positive aspects of the two services GIB and Turkey [MIT].
 To coordinate training course to GIB officers for capacity building with Turkey [MIT]
experiences.
 Coordinate and organize for the experts meetings between GIB and [MIT] in Juba.
 Coordinate for the visiting of Director General of GIB to turkey to meet his Counterpart
there.
 Establish relationship with Turkey external intelligence [MIT].
 Assess public opinion of Turkey Government against Republic of South Sudan.
 Take lead of positive intelligence amongst South Sudanese Community and students in
Turkey.
 To monitor any illegally movements of South Sudanese oppositions Parties in Turkey.

Goal [3]

 Know the number of South Sudanese living in Turkey.

 Assess the positive and negative aspects of South Sudanese presence in Turkey towards
Government of Republic of South Sudan.
 Assess the situation of South Sudanese students in Turkey.

1st Quarter [January –March]

Monitoring on Syria situation and write a report

Sharing intelligence information with counterparts
Compile a report for the first quarter

2nd Quarter [April-June]

Coordinate training course to GIB in Juba

Compile a report on Syria situation

Daily basis activity report through phone or mail

Compile your work report for quarter two

3rd Quarter [July-September]

Arrange visiting for DG of GIB to Turkey

Arrange visit of MIT expertise to Juba
Write report on Syria Situation
Compile your work report the third Quarter

4th Quarter [October-December]

Evaluate implementation of work plan of the year 2013

Prepare work plan for the year 2014
Monitoring on Syria situation and write report on it
