The event took place 27 October, 2020; it began at 5pm and participants met up at the campus clock
tower at 4:40pm.

Participants marched from the clock tower to the campus polling site to cast their vote.

There was an appearance from NBA star Chris Paul who recently enrolled as a student at WSSU to
complete his degree.

The event was hosted by DP The MC, and music was provided by DJ TM.

There were performances from Red Sea of Sound, Powerhouse of Red & White, greek organizations, and
wssu dance teams.

Free t-shirts were given out. Participants were also able to purchase food from food truck vendors.

“We wanna give a big shout out to everybody who helped make our second march even better and those
who came out,” WSSU PAC said.

This event had about 2,500 people with NBA star Chris Paul to march to the campus early-voting site.

“Man what a time we had today!! Nothing like that HBCU love,” Chris Paul said.
