    Newton's Cradle is a device that demonstrates conservation of momentum and energy through a series of solid steel balls suspended in a frame which can be set into motion. When one ball is lifted and released, it strikes the stationary ball on the opposite end and that ball lifts and the struck ball drops. The same exchange is repeated down the line of balls. Testing showed it worked best for 12 exchanges when a single ball was lifted at a 45 degree angle and worked for 6 exchanges when two balls were lifted at that angle before losing control.
