    Newton's Cradle is an apparatus that demonstrates conservation of momentum and energy through a series of solid steel balls suspended in a line that are set into motion by the contact of one ball. When a ball is lifted and released, it strikes the stationary ball at the opposite end and they swing back, with the force transferring through the other balls in the line.
