The Associate Business Analyst provides assistance to the Business System team as it defines and
develops business requirements and functional specifications for new systems as well as modifications to
existing systems of moderate complexity. This is an entry level role which, under close supervision, will
provide basic technical support and guidance. Supports small scale projects with simple to moderate
complexity

1 Assists senior analysts with the writing of business requirements and functional 50
specifications for new systems. Records modifications to existing systems. Assists
in researching and fact finding with business/client needs and problems,
supporting the documentation of results by escalating to appropriate staff member.
Helps senior staff to perform requirements gathering interviews with clients/users
with the support from more senior team members
2 Helps prepare and update status reports and task planning activities. Follow 40
change management process for enhancements; and Act as a point of contact for
recipients of the functional design document. Researches and solves open
functional design questions.
