Rationale

The COVID-19 pandemic is prompting academic institutions to abruptly and comprehensively


adopt online learning, remote work, and other activities to help contain the spread of the virus.

A wide range of new applications and open source technologies to support student success are
now available and may prove invaluable to help students adapt to fully remote learning.
Teachers therefore must be skillful in the use of online technologies and equipped with such
knowledge, expertise and hands-on learning to achieve effective delivery of instruction and
develop the full potential of the learners.

Objectives

The Online Training Workshop aims to:

1. introduce the remote teaching and learning tools;


2. provide hands-on activities on the different tools; and
3. equip teachers with interactive and enjoyable strategies and activities to help develop the full
potential of the learners.

Training Plan

Before the start of the Online Training, participants are expected to have their Facebook and
email Account. Participants are advised to use Laptop or Desktop Computer for the Hands-on
Activities.
