ACCESS TO COURSES'

STUDENT WORKBOOK
A ccess t o C our se
Wo rkbook
To the RHA instructors who will carry out the training in the self-study modality
(Video Classroom); follows a quick step by step to ensure access to course
material (student workbook)

1. CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT ON

THE RED HAT PORTAL (NEW
RHN ID)
In an anonymous tab, access the URL:
sso.redhat.com and proceed with the process
of creating a new RHN ID. This secondary ID
will act as a student access to the portal, so
that you can get the material of the course
you are taking.

It is important to take into account that the

instructor will now have two logins (a
primary ID and a secondary student ID).

2. CREATING CLASS IN THE

RED HAT ACADEMY LEARNING
PLATAFORM
On the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform,
log in with your primary RHN ID.
Access the "Manage Classes" menu and
proceed with the creation of a new class. It is
important to select the same course that the
instructor is taking in the Video Classroom
modality.
3. SECONDARY RHN ID REGISTRATION AND CLASS CREATION
Still in the process of creating a class, in the respective space for adding students, the
instructor must add their secondary RHN ID, created in Step (1) of this tutorial.
This will ensure that the instructor's secondary account has student access to the platform
and to the material of the selected course.
Finish creating the class by clicking the "Create" button.

4. ACCESS TO THE RED HAT ACADEMY LEARNING PLATFORM AS

A STUDENT
On the same anonymous tab used to create the new account, the instructor must log in using
their secondary (student) RHN ID on the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform.
In this way, the instructor will have full access to the material resources (student workbook) of
the course he is taking.
