Listen and watch the videos about reading comprehension activity and explain 10 tips to increase

this skill.

 You must get used to being constant, read texts that you really enjoy, but do it

systematically, so that your mind gets used to and can better retain in your memory the

contextual words and phrases that you have learned.

 Read stories or information you know to understand what you are Reading.

 Making connections between paragraphs to understand what reading is about.

 Retell the story that describing the important parts in your own words, because many

people can see the reading in different ways.

 Ask questions, before, during and after reading, help to better understand the text.

 Draw pictures with the main events of the story in the correct order to better understand

the reading and relations the images with specific phrases.

 Making predictions about what will happen after a story helps keep readers interested in

the text.

 Read stories you already know to understand and understand vocabulary.

 By watching favorite movies in English, we understand what we are hearing and seeing

to identify words.

 Before you start reading, look at the title and illustrations. You will have a clear idea of

the text.

 Find the meaning of unknown words in the dictionary and memorize them.

 Listen to music in English to identify the words.

 Identify the main connecting words to understand the sentence.
