Compound Microscope
Cells are very small to be seen by the naked eye. Due to that fact, certain inventions were made
to magnify these small bodies and then be later called as microscopes. Microscope is very important in
studying cells because it helps us see “the big picture”. Those very tiny components would be easy to
analyse and studied for. In addition, most professionals studying cells owe major discoveries from mi-
croscopes. The evolution and improvement of this device helps us to see more information how cells
work, operate and live.
For us, students, microscopes open us to the wonders of cells. This device opens a door for us to
peek and understand the basic information of cells. Furthermore, the need of understanding cells is
very important as a prerequisite for higher Biology. The utilization of the said device makes it as an in-
signia of learners that are passionate in the field of Biology.
The current condition in our society marks the wide spread utilization of microscopes. It helps us
see the microscopic enemy we face today– the Corona Virus. Who wouldn’t see that importance on a
microscope? Time will tell if further inventions would outshine this device in functionality. Above all, mi-
croscopes made humans intensively passionate studying cells– the basic unit of life.
