POSTOBON
It is the largest company in Colombia in the production of soft drinks, juices and bottling of
water. However, although it has a wide portfolio of products, it is a leader in the sale of soft
drinks. "Colombiana" a product that has been in the Colombian market for 91 years, being
one of the most recognized beverages of the Postobón group, however, "Manzana" is the star
product of Postobón, the product that is sold the most and the oldest of this company. For
this reason "Colombiana" is in the dairy cow quadrant, since it is a product that has been sold
for nine decades, with which Colombians have identified and carried out different contests
and advertising campaigns, but that despite increasing Grupo Postobón's income is not a star
product.

PHYSICAL COMPONENTS

Canned presentation: It comes in a 330ml presentation. Colombian canned soda
comes in a 3mm cardboard tray with a transparent plastic covering the product. These

Plastic container: They come in the benefits of Go Pack (600ml) Supergiant (2.5
liters) and (1.5 liters) The supplier of plastic containers is Ibertplast. The packaging
is transparent so that the customer can appreciate the product.

Label: Applies to glass and plastic containers. The label has the logo of the soft drink,
which is a Colombian flag, with an eagle in the middle. Highlighting that this drink
has become a national symbol. A flagship product of Colombia. Likewise, through
its slogan "ours" it encourages a sense of belonging in Colombians towards this
product. In addition to sending a message in which the product is intended for all
types of people regardless of color, race, creed.
PSYCHOLOGICAL COMPONENT

Quality and service: Postobón is a company that has been characterized by the
quality in the choice and selection of its raw materials and suppliers, in the
standardization of its processes, in the level of rigor of its controls, in the cleaning
and sanitizing of its plants and laboratories, in their training of physicochemical and
microbiological analytical methods to their employees, because they have a computer
system that detects the existence of a defective product, which meets international
quality standards.
Postobón has “Rosita”, a dedicated customer service line to resolve any concerns
from both shopkeepers and consumers. The company has 30 management indexes
through which service and quality are analyzed.

INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS

Ingredients: Carbonated water, sugar, acidifier (citric acid, phosphoric acid), natural
and artificial flavors, preservative (Sodium Benzoate), artificial colors (yellow 5, red
6 and blue 1), vegetable sparkling, tartrazine.

INCOME
Based on the previous graph, 64% of the income is generated by the sale of soft drinks,
products that have been in the Colombian market for several decades, that have gone through
the introduction and growth stage and that for several years have remained in the maturity
cycle since they are products that continue to generate sales.

Among the communication media that Postobón usually uses to promote its product are: RCN
radio and Canal RCN, since all the aforementioned companies are part of the Ardila Lulle
Group.
