Content Detail Time


Observational Observational footage will be individual putting the cake into the 0:00 - 00:10
footage + Voice oven and then a close up shot of them putting a timer on.
over Throughout the opening sequence the audience will see the
gradual countdown of the timer. Along with this will be an added
voice over stating a few facts about baking/introducing the topic.
“Many consider baking to be an art form…”
Interview An upbeat positive sound will be playing in the background. This 00:10-00:20
will be interviewee 1 answering the question “Who/what got you
into baking” . Interviewee 1 will be sat in the kitchen with the
oven in the background - Equipment of measuring cups and scales
in the background. “My mum has always had a big impact on me
when it came to baking…”
Cutaway - archive Based on a rough guess on what the interviewee will say in 00:20-00:25
footage response to “Who or what got you into baking?”
cutaway will be relevant to their answer. For example, If they
were to answer their mum inspiring them I would include photos
of their mum and them when they were younger.
Interview Interviewee 2 will also be asked the same question. Giving 00:25:00:35
different answers. Location will be in a bakery - behind the
counter with all the cakes. “Ever since I was young I was always in
the kitchen
Cutaway - archive Based on a rough guess on what the interviewee will say in 00:35-00:40
footage response to “Who or what got you into baking?”
cutaway will be relevant to their answer. Example will be if they
had always had a passion for baking when they were younger use
archive footage of pictures of them in the kitchen baking when
they were young

Interview 3 Interviewee 3 will also be asked the same question. Giving 00:43:00:53
different answers. “I got into baking because it helped me
destress from the busy life I live…”

to say it is a long process and there is lots to do, kind of difficult to
manage it, I would include a cutaway of a shot in the bakery.
Where a baker will be putting a number amount of pastries or
cakes into the big oven - shows how much there is to do

Observational Someone flouring the counter and then rolling out dough. Cookie 01:18-01:25
footage + cutters and measuring cups surround the counter. Voice over will
dialogue again be someone answering a question (Interview 3). “Do you
prefer baking alone or with someone else?”
Cutaway Rough estimation of answer - like to bake with friends more fun. 2 01:25-01:30
friends in kitchen baking brownies. Measuring equipment and
pans are out.
Observational Someone in the bakery along lining up cupcake trays. Putting 01:30-01:45
footage + batter into the cupcake trays. Upbeat tempo again in the
dialogue background. Narration of interviewee 3 answering “What is your
favorite part of baking?”
Cutaway + Continuation of voice over onto cutaway. Estimation of answer 01:45-02:05
dialogue may consist of interviewee 1 saying favourite part of baking is the
decoration. Have a cutaway of rolling out fondant cutting out
different shapes.
Cutaway upbeat tempo - another cutaway of mid shot icing cupcakes 02:05-02:10
observational upbeat tempo again along with a closeup shot of timer counting 02:10-02:15

Interview Interviewee 2 will be answering the least favourite part of baking. 02:15-02:25
Interviewee 2 works at the bakery answer could talk about the
overwhelmingness of rush hour at the bakery. Lots of customers
come in
