DANGERS OF PLASTIC SURGERY.

Plastic surgery is a specialty that leads to the reconstruction of the human body. It

involves reconstructive surgery, which alters the appearance of the human body using cosmetic

surgery. This speech aims at enlightening the youths and society; they are the primary audience

of this speech. It is to illuminate them of the dangers of plastic surgery and the general

acceptance of their appearance.

Imagine, if you could ever change anything about your body, what could it be? Especially

physical appearance. This is the main thing we should be more concerned about since we all

have answers. The world today is in a period whereby body image matters a lot. Many of the

people value themselves from the way they look. This norm has been given some light by plastic

surgery and cosmetics. This actual changeability makes, therefore, the desire to look a reality

differently. This process is dangerous, and I will describe its danger to our health and the

destruction of morals in society.

Most people are not able to recognize that plastic surgery is hazardous to our bodies, just like

other operations. Anesthesia causes one death in every thirteen thousand processes related to

cosmetics. The surgery also creates many complications, mostly coming from anesthetist use.

They are likes of heart irregularities, blood clots, and stroke. Since people die a lot, we can get

that the dangers of plastic surgery outweigh its benefits.

Though people pursue so much on the benefits, we should be much concerned with the risks. The

society is overwhelmed by their culture of perfecting beauty. This is due to the body images

portrayed by our media, which have much impact on our wellbeing. People are succumbing due

to the pressure they get from the unrealistic media images. People always get depressed about

the body's looks. It mainly affects ladies who sacrifice a lot for their body look.

Plastic surgery intensifies much on this social issue. It makes people to be exposed to artificial

beauty and think they are not good if they do not do it. Besides, due to people’s desires, they can

alter their bodies through plastic surgery, and this should be advocated against. It is also a danger

to our health. We can get to the point of treasuring our physical makeup and leave alone the

plastic surgeries our moral characters always forces us to look different in front of our fellows.

We can now see the way plastic surgery is hazardous. I have brought into your consent how it

affects our morals, social life, and our health. It is now us to do our part in these issues. Let us

come out clear and make a decision on whether we can risk our happiness and health just for the

sake of beauty. We now have to fully accept ourselves the way we are and be happy.
