  DATA VISUALIZATION FEATURES

The need for displaying large amounts of data in a more accessible and understandable

way has been on the rise. Many organizations come up with data each day, leading to the number

of data needed in the web to be increased. It is not easy for users to use, visualize and explore the

enormous available data. Visualization of data is a very crucial ability to scientists in research

(Murray, 2017). In recent days computers have been very core in processing massive amounts of

data. Data visualization deals with designing, developing and applying graphics representations

that are generated from machines. It leads to the provision of adequate representation of data that

originate from adverse sources. It enables analytics to see sense in data and helps them in the

formation of opinions.

Events in this term are paramount sections of the information set that go with certain

conditions and limitations concerning the records. The unique thing about these features is that

the receiver is interested in it. Immediately they are detected, these events are likened to a variety

of parameters and data that are involved together with their importance. An example of such

events is elementary that is exceeding a certain threshold of records such as more significant

than, like the case of children we can place it as (number of children > 200). This is because the

elementary events are always seen for most straightforward visualization tasks only and can also

allow composite events originating from the simple ones and others such as logical operations as

(and, or, not). By doing this, other value combinations in a data portion like (profession =

manager and sex = male) will also be shown.

Control is always used in business intelligence where is a set of processes and

applications that gather and transform data into useful information in making decisions henc3e

driving the business performance. Control also helps in the presentation of data with is of

questions to help derive helpful information (Wang, Wang, and Alexander, 2015). For this data,

visualization has had a tremendous rise in the recent years in business intelligence and analytical

industries; hence it emphasizes on self-service. This control feature is always very close to this

field of data visualization and is also a feature.

The function is another feature of data visualization. 9it is one of the tools for data

visualization where you are given the information you want to present it in a certain way.

Function follows the control after we are done with the event. It is imperative since it builds

upon the analysis of information. The function is basically what we are measuring or considering

as our variable determinant. An example is the signs like =, +, < and > which are the

determinants of the outcome. An example is like the one for children where we use > as a

function to show the level of children present, and it is like the children available > 200. This

function elaborates the level of children current, hence making the presentation very clear and

understandable to the researcher or the receiver of the information.

To conclude this, data visualization is the pictorial representation of data in a very useful

and transparent way. In analyzing and interpretation of complex data, it has come up as the most

powerful and applied by many people. It has made it easy to convey message and concepts in a

comprehensive format. It brings out complicated ideas with efficiency, accuracy and very clear.

All these benefits have made this data visualization to be widely applicable and have vast

acceptability.
