 BACKGROUND

By saying Alhamdulillah, I give thanks for the presence of God who has bestowed his
mercy, guidance, and inayah so that I can complete the report on industrial work practices
properly.

This report has been prepared as one of the requirements to take the National Final
Examination (UAN) in the preparation of this report. It cannot be separated from the assistance
of various parties, in the form of advice, advice, guidance, and direction. Therefore I say to:

Now at nearly 8 years old and supported by more than 12 employees, IVI Computer is a
pioneer and role model for IT companies in Brebes with various services and businesses in the
field of information and computer technology.

By prioritizing the vision and mission of "Trusted Computer Service Center", IVI
Computer continues to be determined not only to become an ordinary IT company, but also to
continue to serve the public in the needs of information technology by providing the best service
in the Brebes region. Especially with quality, quality , price and highest satisfaction.

IVI COMPUTER was established on February 5, 2007, was established at Jalan KH

Ahmad Dahlan 41 RT 01 RW 06 Pasarbatang Brebes, Central Java by Ibnu Sina, ST., M.Pd with
2 employees and occupying 144 m2 space as a computer shop in Brebes that handles
Maintenance (Service) Office. Handling computer training for students / students (Internships /
Industrial Work Practices). In 2007, IVI Computer handled more products such as PC (Desktop)
Computers. Because at that time the development of the computer world had not touched
portable products such as laptops and netbooks. Currently IVI Computer has grown to a total of
12 employees.

IVI COMPUTER was first established as having the ideal of designing a Computer
training facility so that it can become a professional computer training institution.

In 2009, the choice of products at IVI Computer was more complete and reliable with
priority sales in the segment of Notebooks, Netbooks and Tablets (smartphones) of leading
brands with up-to-date technology, quality assurance and guarantees such as, TOSHIBA, ACER,
HP, DELL, ASUS, SAMSUNG, LENOVO, FUJITSU, GIGABYTE, HITACHI, BENQ, and
other well-known brands, plus a number of Audio Visual products for presentation systems such
as LCD projectors, screens and control systems. IVI Computer has become the most complete
pioneer and trendsetter for its services in the field of Information Technology to the community
especially in Brebes Regency.

In 2013 IVI Computer reached the age of 7 years with more variety of products handled.
Supported by 12 employees, IVI Computer continues to be present with the best service in the
field of IT for the community. With over 7 years of age and with a reputation as one of the most
robust and mature IT companies, IVI Computer presents and participates in various activities
such as exhibitions and in-store events.

Now the fields offered by IVI COMPUTER are Laptop and PC sales, Service and Maintenance,
Internet and Network, as well as Supplier and Procurement.

Description of tasks carried out

The tasks carried out while carrying out Field Work Practices (PKL) in IVI Computer, are as
follows:

 Clean the store

 Serve buyers

 Install windows and applications on a laptop or CPU

 Disassemble the laptop or CPU

 Install the cartridge in the printer

 Check the damage to the printer

 Refilling printer ink

 Overcome laptops that have mild damage

 Clean the cooling fan on the laptop or CPU

 Clean the motherboard and RAM on a laptop

CONCLUSION
The conclusion obtained by the writer from the results of the Industrial Work Practices report
(Prakerind), namely Learning in the world of work is a strategy that gives participants the
opportunity to experience the learning process through working directly on the job. guided by the
industry.

SUGGESTION
The author is aware of the limited knowledge and experience possessed, but even so will try
as best as the writer.

In the implementation of this prakerind the writer takes the lessons learned and the benefits for
ourselves. We hope that this report will be useful for all of us and also those who read it. As for
the suggestions that we can put forward include the following:

1. Work discipline, courtesy ethics, skills, honesty, accuracy, responsibility must be increased or
paid attention to by all IVI COMPUTER employees.

2. Establish good cooperation between superiors and subordinates is the key to the success of a
business
