Note:
1) Examinations will be held as per this schedule, notwithstanding subsequent
declaration of holidays.
2) Bare Acts & any other books will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

Note:-
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

1. The candidate is expected to write 100 marks examination for each paper.
2. Continuation fee of D.1,000/- per year is to be paid after completion of 2 years of registration. (The
same has to be remitted along with the examination fee).
3. Students attending the examination will have to make their own arrangements for
accommodation.
4. All payments (examination fee, late fee & continuation fee whichever is applicable)
a. shall be made in a single DD, favouring Registrar, NLSIU, payable at Bangalore and to be
sent to The Coordinator, Distance Education Department, National Law School of India
University, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore:560 0242 (560 072) so as to reach on or before May
25, 2012, failing which the application will not accepted.
b. Payments may also be made in cash at the NLSIU Cash Counter, on all working days
(Monday to Saturday) between 9.30a.m and 4.00p.m.
c. Submission of application & payment can be done online from 28.03.2012.
5. Admission ticket will be sent to the candidates by speed post from 1st week of June 2012.
6. The application will be rejected if the payment of fee is not made on or before the last date fixed
by the University. Under no circumstances, the last date will be extended or late application will
be entertained.
7. Candidate admitted to First Year programme is eligible for promotion to Second Year even
if s/he fails or not appeared for any or all the papers of First Year. But at the end of the 1st
academic year a candidate has to remit the II year fee of D .10,000/- (rupees Ten Thousand
only, to be paid between 01st June - 31st August 2012) and can continue studies in II MBL.
At the end of Second year the candidate can appear for both First year as well as Second
year examinations.
Note:
 Examination fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to the next examination under
any circumstance.
 Printout of the application submitted online with fee details has to reach on or before May
25, 2012, failing which the application filled online will not considered.
 Candidate appearing for MBL I / II / Diploma course has to send examination application
form separately for each course
 Candidates should mandatorily carry the Identity card and admit/hall ticket issued by the
Distance Education Department, NLSIU to the examination Centre.
 Mobile phones will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
