My Long Day Shortly

Like most adults in today’s world, I wake up at a reasonable time and the first thing I do

is check my cell phone for any news or notifications that I may have gotten overnight or early in

the morning. I am a huge sports fan so I have several notifications on various applications.

Recently there was a blockbuster trade in the NBA involving a household name and other

superstars. There is a show on the ESPN channel called First Take. This is primarily a show

about personal opinions so rhetoric is all over their pieces. The trade mainly involved a superstar

by the name of James Harden being traded to the Brooklyn Nets. Max Kellerman, one of the co-

At around lunch time, I indulge into the vast world of the popular app, TikTok. I enjoy

watching cooking videos primarily to enlighten my own personal cooking ideas. There is a

popular trendy food going around TikTok, and this is birria tacos. I come across several of these

videos with all kinds of people sharing their recipes with us. I came across one that was anything

but the traditional way of making birria. It was very simple and that is why it intrigued me. This

Of all my hobbies, there is one that I keep very close to my heart and one that has gotten

me through hard times dating back to my childhood. That hobby is video games. As of right
now, Call of Duty Warzone, is a very popular video game amongst all platforms and ages. There

are several combinations of weapons at our disposal with several weapon attachments that you

are able to equip to make your weapon unique. A Twitch streamer by the name of Nickmercs, is

After my gaming session, I head to my computer to see what is the latest news on my

favorite NFL team, the Los Angeles Chargers. It is currently the time of playoffs, and though

draft is a series of rounds where the teams have selections of players coming out of college. Fans

and analysts love to make mock drafts which is basically their opinion on who the team should

It is finally nighttime and I end it also on my cell phone. I see an ad about credit cards, as

 We come across rhetoric all throughout our daily lives. Companies along with everyday

people share their ways and ideas to attempt to persuade others to follow their ways or sign with

them or whatever the case may be. Persuasion is all around us when we do not even notice them.
