Mobile Device Management Is Evolving
Your Mobile E-mail Client is Evolving
In the coming months Tata Communications will be transitioning to a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
The new Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) will cover all mobile devices, as well as corporate/BYOD laptop devices.
This solution will allow IT to manage, protect, support and distribute software to all clients, ensuring a consistent
experience across all devices.
To facilitate the transition to our new UEM solution, phones and tablet devices will be the first to migrate. As part of this
initiative, IT is unenrolling users from Maas360 in phased manner.
Your devices will be unenrolled from Maas360 on or before 26th July 2019. The official e-mail client supported by UEM
solution is “Boxer-Workspace ONE”. Please install the “Boxer-Workspace ONE” app available in both the Google Play
Store and the Apple AppStore.
Please note that the “Boxer-Workspace ONE” app will be the ONLY mail client that will be permitted to connect to
corporate e-mail. Enforcement of this policy will happen as soon as UEM deployment is complete.
Please remove Maas360 from your device first, then install and configure the Boxer app for email access.
