ANS:
Mobile office application which includes e-office through mobile with data collection and data
assimilation can be done through mobile phone only which create a platform for virtual
office. They support most of the business functions like document sharing, collaboration,
sales, order processing, inventory management, production monitoring, auditing and data
collection.

IDENTIFY THE PROBLEMS THAT BUSINESSES IN THIS CASE STUDY SOLVED BY USING
MOBILE DIGITAL DEVICES.

ANS:
-Most of the manual operation which take time and cost can be solved with more accuracy and
quick manner. It is a kind of automation through the help of artificial intelligence. Human
connection will be less so error and all human induced problems will be less.

ANS:
Software related companies, investment banking, e-commerce, accounting and auditing companies
will benefit from this.

changes the way that you can interact with your customers and with your suppliers.” Discuss the
implications of this statement. Flavor Lab is doing. TCHO employees also use the iPhone to
exchange photos, e-mail, and text messages. The Apple iPad is also emerging as a
business tool for W eb-based note-taking, file sharing, word processing, and number -
crunching. Hundreds of business productivity applications are being developed, including
tools for Web conferencing, word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation .

ANS:

The implication of this statement is that in this digital world where people are getting
connected digitally, the iPhone is a class apart and through its unique features it has
changed the way a business connects with its customers and makes any kind of
interaction so easy. Because of this, conducting a business at any point of time in a day
has become more convenient with the help of iPhone. The other implication is that it has
decreased the face-to-face interaction which used to happen in any business prior to the
digital networking.

ANS:

The Apple iPhone and Apple iPad are both compatible with the same Apps which are
developed for iOS. iOS is the mobile operating system, a proprietary software created and
developed by Apple Inc. exclusively for its hardware. It is the operating system that presently
powers many of the company's mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

The Motorola Droid is an Android OS powered Device. The latest models of the blackberry
also incorporate the Android OS, while a few of the older models use Blackberry OS like
Blackberry 10.3 or
10.3.1. These are also compatible with Android Apps but are generally limited to the ones
available on the Amazon App Store.

The capabilities of each device defer based on the exact model. The display specs, processor
size and speed, etc. vary across models within both Android and Apple devices. But generally,
all provide a stable security system, top end camera, connectivity to high-speed internet and
useful inbuilt apps like mail, maps, contact management, etc.

Business Uses of the above platforms:

1. Information at your fingertips - A smart phone gives you easy access to the internet, which
means you’ll have 24/7 access to all the information you could need such as current news or
updates, email, analytics reports, etc.

2. Effective Communication - Using these devices, you can be connected 24/7 through email,

customers, etc.

hassle. It is easy to establish a clutter free schedule with the help of such apps. They can

integration with other apps.

etc.
