do they improve operational efficiency and decision making?
Answer: The applications that described are mobile applications which are in smartphones or
iPads. They support business functions such as marketing, information, and inventory. They
improve on the basis of easy accessibility and fast interface activity between the services.

2. Identify the problems that businesses in this case study solved by using mobile digital devices.
Answer: The problems that were identified are: difficulty in managing on-going business
manually, tracking multiple data, another is connectivity between devices.

3. What kind of businesses are most likely to benefit from equipping their employees with mobile
digital devices such as iPhones and iPads?
Answer: Networking businesses, more so to marketing businesses.

4. One company deploying iPhones has said, “The iPhone is not a game changer, it’s an industry
changer. It changes the way that you can interact with your customers” and “with your
suppliers.” Discuss the implications of this statement.
Answer: The Company implied that the usage of mobile digital devices doesn’t just increases the
effectivity of the business, but also improves the fluidity for customer interaction and supplier
connection.
