support? How do they improve operational efficiency and decision making?

There are different kind of application mention in this case study such as to improve the
productivity, speed up the works of employees, preparing presentations, easily communicate
with their colleagues, easy ways to interact with their customers. The business function that
they support are automotive dealers, auditors, sales engineers, customer service and
managers. These application help them to add more productivity to businesses. These
applications help improve operational efficiency and decision making by allowing employees to
communicate with customers in a fast and efficient manner. Through the reduction in the use
of processes and paperwork, more time can be spent with the customers allowing for more
potential sales.

2. Identify the problems that businesses in this case study solved by using mobile digital
devices.

It help to easily monitor the performance of different employees and sales. Easily get
appointment to potential customers.

3. What kinds of businesses are most likely to benefit from equipping their employees with
mobile digital devices such as iPhones and iPads?

All businesses are most likely will benefit these kinds of application. And I think
businesses should equip their employees these application not just it is reliable, it is easily to
get more sales. In business you should invest more money to gain more money.

4. One company deploying iPhones has said, “The iPhone is not a game changer , it's an
industry changer. It changes the way that you can interact with your customers” and “with
your
suppliers.” Discuss the implications of this statement.

Because in the modern world or society it is very necessity not for us but for businesses to
switch into technology. Using these kind of application will not consume such a time or it lessen the time
spend for going to some place to place to meet your customers or business partner or doing some
paperworks, presentation etc and by using these application it is automatically speed up your work. I
think many jobs will save their time and effort.
