1. Who is Abraham Lincoln?

 Abraham Lincoln was a president of United States. At that time there was a
major problem from his country. Slavery and Civil War which have been
controversial at his homeland. And because of that tragic happened, there are
many innocent people have been killed including Negro people. But Lincoln was
very smart and skillfulness leader, he decided and make a plan to stop civil war
even if his family has greatly affected.

2. According to the movie, what was the biggest problem that he has face as a president?
How did he face those problems?

 In the movie entitled “LINCOLN”, Abraham Lincoln is the U.S president. He

wanted to ban slavery and civil war from his country, Lincoln believes that
passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the constitution which will be abolish
slavery and most importantly achieve something in which he believe to his core,
but also end the war as slavery is a large part of the raison the entire for it. And
also Lincoln`s family life is emotionally fraught. His wife Mary suffers constant
headaches as the result of a carriage accident that she believes was as
assassination attempt against her husband.

3. In order to face these problems, what leadership style does he apply?

 Lincoln wanted to end the slavery of his country. His leadership style are
Achievement oriented goal and Transformational leadership that would set a goal
for his country and also to inspire follower to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
Lincoln takes it upon himself and his staff to find the votes needed by the end of
the month, which requires the granting of many political favors to members of
their rival party. To succeed in our goals we need to take a risk in order for it to
create, that strategy is Lincoln applied.

4. In your own opinion, what is the essence of leadership?

 Leadership is an act of influencing his/ her followers into a life of becoming

successful. Leadership also emphasizing the ability to make a person to become
better. In the movie itself, Lincoln wanted to end suffer of his country. He started
to make a plan on how to ban civil war. His leadership to his country was great
and make all the people live free from slavery and civil war including Negro
people.
