In 2020, social media is one of the best ways for people to connect with one another. It not only
allows people to stay in touch across continents and time zones but also with friends who live
just a few houses down. But with that constant connection comes this question. How much time
do people spend on social media each day? Is it too much? Should we be embracing our
increasingly connected lives, or making an effort to cut back on-screen time? The answer to that
question is up to each person to make for themselves, but first, we need to know these social
platform works.

The two major players in platform are facebook and youtube; they both work in different ways.
Youtube is all about video watching. The people who post their videos in youtube gets money
depending on how many people have watched their video. Many people made their career as a
youtuber. People can like, dislike and comment on their video, and a viewer can express their
thought about the video in the comment section. People can also subscribe to a particular channel
if they want to, they can also press the notification button to get notified whenever they post any
new videos.

On the other hand, Facebook is much more interactive than youtube. In facebook, people can
write a post, share videos and pictures, can react and comment on a post, be friends with one
another. There is an important feature on facebook, which is messenger, though messenger
people can directly chat, audio or video call to one another.

Despite all the features that are available on facebook, it is too much distracting, many people
losses their variable time on it. Facebook can also be used to spread fake news and
misinformation, Facebook can also be used to trap or guide a society; in 2016, the American
presidential election was hugely influenced by fakebook. It can be dangerous for us.
It can be well-argued that YouTube has a more of sensor layer to it. Spending time on youtube is
convenient, people can just to their favorite content creator, watch their videos and leave, but
factbook is like a spider web, once you go in their always something that will grab your attention
and mislead you.
