Compare and Contrast between the Rural and the Urban Areas in Bangladesh

There are numerous similarities and differences between rural areas and urban areas. Urban area
is big and complex, whereas rural area is simple and minimalist. People build urban areas for
their needs and liking. That is why urban area is more populated than rural area.

Rural area refers to a small settlement, which is outside the boundaries of a city, commercial or
industrial area. Where reside natural habitude and fresh air to breathe. More open spaces to
explore and see. The houses are small and looks beautiful with nature. There is a low density of
population in rural areas. One can truly immerse themselves with nature. Although there are
fewer people in rural area but they are connected with the core level.

One the other hand, urban area refers to an area which is densely populated and more developed.
These areas are engaged in trade, commerce or services. There is high scale industrialization that
helps with better employment opportunities. The urban area is not contained not only in cities but
also in the suburbs. There is greater isolation from nature in urban areas, due to the existence of
the environment. They are not many open spaces to explore most of them are coverup with large
scale buildings. Because of the better facilities of the urban area, they are more people but they
are less connected with one another. There is less fresh air too breath due to the large population.

It is easily understandable that these two human settlements are very different, regarding the
density of human structures and the residents of that area. The maximum part of people lives in
urban areas as well as total land areas are occupied by urban regions is greater than in rural areas.
But the real nature beauty we can see in the rural area.
