Difference between Urban and Rural Society

Every country has two main sides rural side and urban side . Human settlement is majorly divided
between these two categories . Both of these areas make any country strong and progressive . Both
areas have there own difference and worthful features . Rural areas are country side areas . These
areas consist of villages , farms , fields while urban sides are these areas which are located in the centre
of a country . An urban area is the region surrounding a city .

The difference between rural areas and urban areas are environmental ,
educational , economical .
The big difference between rural and urban areas is environmental difference .

The environment of rural area is very clean and peaceful . for example rural area is consist of simple
houses , fields , farms , lakes and it is near to the nature no pollution , noise and garbage .

The health of rural people is better than urban people . They work more then urban people .

For example a farmer works in fields more than 12 hours from early morning to evening and there food
is healthy consist of fresh vegetable ,fruits and milk .

The environment of urban is very noisy and polluted . for example the noise of traffic smoke of industry
and lake of trees and plants make atmosphere of urban area polluted and noisy .

The health of urban people is weaker than rural people

They work on 8 hours in offices and industry and their food consist of junk food, unhealthy drinks and
preserve items .

Education of urban citizens is pretty much better than rural people . for example the urban people are
more educated then rural people .For Example, they do graduation ,Masters Phd in different fields.
The number of schools and universities in urban area is greater than rural area.

Urban people are more familiar with technology . For example nearly every urban people have mobile
phone ,Laptops and several others devices .

Educational condition in rural area is very bad. Rural people hardly complete there school education .
For example rural people hardly to know write there name .

The numbers of schools in rural area are very low and there is no university located in rural area. For
example you have to cover more than 4 killometers distance to reach school .

The economy of rural area depends upon nature and agriculture . For example rural people grow
vegetable , plants fruit gardens and then sell them to markets .
The income of rural people is lower than urban people . For example a farmer 12 hour in a days and
earns 50000 and urban man earns 100000.

The economy of urban area consist of many business like offices , shops , industry , transport etc . For
example in cities people adopt many progression like economics, engineering , physician , shop keeper ,
transporter .

The urban areas have larger number of heavy industries and factories and they have larger number of
employment available in cities . For example people work in these places as a manager . , associate's
loader .

 Every country depends on both rural and urban area for its progress . Rural areas play an
important role for good climate for any country . And the economical strength of any country
depends upon urban area. These two settlements are very different regarding residents of that
area . Most of population resides in urban area because of its benefit .
