Pursuant to Government of India's announcement regarding a Liberalized and
Accelerated
st
Phase 3 Strategy of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme from
1 May, 2021, Government of Chhattisgarh plans to avail of this new initiative, so that
maximum number of eligible people in the below 45 years age category in the state are
able to get the benefits of vaccination in the shortest possible time.

Under the provisions of the aforesaid Strategy, Health & Family Welfare
Department, Government of Chhattisgarh proposes to procure doses of Covaxin at the
rate as per the norms of Government of India. As a first installment we are placing an
order for 25 Lakhs doses of Covaxin.

For this purpose, the terms & conditions of delivery and payment along with
schedule of supplies may please be intimated at the earliest.

It is intimated that Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation will be the nodal

agency for this procurement of the vaccine on behalf of Government of Chhattisgarh.
Mr. Kartikeya Goel, IAS, MD, CGMSC, Chhattisgarh will be the nodal officer (mobile
