Contingency Plan to Avoid Contraction of CoVID-19 to Guests and Employees


PURPOSE

COVID19 contingency planning is the process of ensuring that resorts and hotels in Barangay
Dinadiawan, Dipaculao Aurora will strictly comply with the health and safety protocols required
by the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) to the Provincial Government of Aurora to be able to
accept guests from outside the province to continue operations during the new normal with
minimal risk of contracting the virus. The COVID19 contingency plan will discuss two things:

1. How the hotels and resorts in Barangay Dinadiawan, Dipaculao Aurora will prepare for
business operations in the new normal.
2. What will be the response of establishments for any COVID19 incident?

PREPAREDNESS

For hotels and resorts businesses to be prepared for any possible COVID19 incident,
management will use the skeptical approach. The management will treat guests as virus carrier
regardless of the documents presented upon entry. The guests must also treat the staff of the
management as virus carrier and same treatment goes with other guests. With this approach
being said, the management has set up rules to be strictly implemented during operation of
business.

RULES TO BE STRICTLY IMPLEMENTED:

 Only guests from MGCQ areas will be accepted for booking


 Only guests with reservation will be accommodated by hotels/resorts
 Only guests with ages 18-59 will be accommodated
 Documentations being required by the provincial government of Aurora for each
individual must be presented upon entry to the province as well as the resort. Guests
with incomplete documents will not be accepted by any premises.
 Guests are required to log in the name and contact number of the resort/hotel where
they will be staying in for proper coordination between the boundary personnels and
the management.
 No registration, No entry policy. Pre-register at least 48 hours prior to travel date
 Register only on Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
 Book with licensed and DOT accredited establishments only
 Guests are only allowed to stay for 3 days prior to their arrival
 Resort and Hotel management must remind the guests that once they enter the
province they are prohibited to stop by any destination aside from the resort/hotel
where they have a reservation.
 Guests are required to bring their own food that is good for the rest of their stay if
possible.
 Guests are not allowed to go outside the premises. The management will provide
whatever goods that is necessary for the guests with additional charge.
 Social distancing between groups of guests must be observed at all times.

Pre Booking and Handling of Guests


1. Only registered and DOT accredited establishments are allowed to accommodate
non-resident tourists. They must have the following requirements:
a. Mayor’s Permit
b. Health Sanitation Permit
c. DOT Accreditation
2. Booking tourists must pre-book their stay through online LGU and DOT Pre-
registration link and shall submit a copy to LGU and DOT officer.
3. Upon pre-booking, the resort management shall inform the costumers of the
protocols and procedures and shall present the following documents:
a. Negative result of CoVID-19 antigen test valid for 3 days from the date of
issuance and vaccination card shall be presented upon entry. Negative RT-PCR
test result shall be required for those unvaccinated guests;
b. Pre-booking form from LGU DOT pre-registration link;
c. Travel documents and IDs;
d. Guests should follow their itinerary and stick to their destination.
4. Guests handling upon arrival
a. Guests must undergo screening one by one upon entry
b. Body temperature check using thermal scanner, log book for contact tracing and
presentation of travel documents as required.
c. No facemask, no entry policy
d. Signage and reminders shall be posted within the area at all times
e. Place disinfectant mats or sanitizing mats at the entrance
f. Contactless greetings must be observed
g. 70% alcohol should be visible and available at all times
h. Guests shall always stay within their group

In any case, those with body temperature exceeding 37.5 degrees Celsius or exhibiting flu like
symptoms shall be discreetly remove from the crowd and escorted calmly to the establishment
isolation room away from others. The designated employees who escorted the suspected flu-
3. Suppliers of Goods and Services
 All incoming items in the establishment must be sanitized
 All delivery vehicles, including those event suppliers, must undergo thorough
disinfection procedure
 Drivers and delivery personnels must adhere to proper sanitation procedure
 All deliveries must be checked before entry
 New and enhanced procedure on cleaning and sanitizing grocery items must be applied

These are the health measures that we have prepared in behalf of the members of Dinadiawan
Hotel and Resort Owners Association (DHROA).
