COVID-19 1NFECTION PREVENTION

OBJECTIVE
Effective prevention and control of communicable diseases in hotels can safeguard the
health of guests and employees. This guideline is intended to provide practical information
on the preventive measures of communicable diseases.

STANDARD PROCEDUR

1. Contractor/Visitor Management

New Normal during COVID-19, ensure safe Contractor/Visitor management system

for smooth operation

Do's:
Guards on duty to wear full uniform, which includes closed collar Full Sleeved
Shirt and Full Pant.
Guards will wear approved face mask and hand gloves all the time on
duty.
Wear non-fabric/textile, rexine material type, water-resistant, slip-on shoes
with rubber soles.
Wear a cap or approved head covering.

Process

Welcome with Namaste at staff entrance.

Staff gate security team will use PPE during the car checking (Face mask, Gloves,
sanitizer & Face shield).
. Car bonnet, underbelly and boot will be checked security person.
 After checking the Car security person should sanitize their hand by sanitizer kept
at staff gate.
Temperature of all the staff will be mandatorily checked before entering the hotel
thoroughly by IR thermometer.
Temperature, IN & OUT time and zones (Contractor/Visitor residing area falls under
different zones) should be recorded in the register kept at staff gate. If
Contractor/Visitor is coming from containment and/or Red zone the Security guard
will be informed for further action at security control room.
If the Contractor's/Visitor's temperature is higher than the prescribed limit of 37.5
Centigrade and/or Contractor/Visitor is sneezing, coughing Contractor/Visitor will
not be allowed entering inside the hotel. Same inform to Purchase department.
Before entering in hotel all the Contractor/Visitor s must fill the deceleration form
at staff gate once. Appreciate if Contractor/Visitor s will use their own pen for
safety.
Aarogya Setu app must be installed in every individual's phones entering in the
hotel.
Security personnel will check the Aarogya Setu app of all the Contractor/Visitor s.
Before entering the hotel, Contractor/Visitor will wash their hand at wash station
at receiving area and use hand free sanitizer at time office.

Don'ts:
Do not remove the face mask at any time.
Do not wear non-latex hand gloves.
Do not shake hands with the guest.
Do not go close to the guest
D o not touch courier, parcel etc. without wearing the gloves.
