2.0 OBJECTIVE

 Pertaining the current Corona Virus 2019, COVID 19 diseases outbreak, MOH, DOSH and CIDB has taken lucrative
steps for the workers to comply a strong preventive countermeasures against the disease. The main focus is to
protect the workers from getting the pandemic diseases by requesting them to follow the appropriate SOP and
method of conveyancing the workers.
 By executing this procedure, our control measure movement of the workers can be mitigated and the chance of
infection of the diseases will be reduced. More briefing , training and explanation will cultivate the workers on how
they can control their movement procedure during this pandemic period.
 Preparedness of resources and action plans prior to re-commencement of works during the Movement Control Order
(MCO) period.
 Encourage contractors to implement proactive measures and approach to safe guard their workplace and ensure
continuity of site activities.
 Develop and observed in accordance with MOH and occupational health protocol.
 Educate and enhanced self awareness of site personnel on their social responsibilities obligation in order to curb
spreading of Covid19 virus at workplace.

5.0 (RESPONSIBILITY OF EMPLOYER)

i) Advice employee on preventive methods ; including personal hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
ii) Remind employees of the need to practice hand hygiene regularly, e.g. via email, social media and etc.
iii) Provide regular updates on COVID-19 to employees.

e) Keep updated on COVID-19.
f) Ensure not to hide any symptoms of Covid -19.
g) Ensure not to involve in any gatherings or events (to avoid crowd) If develop symptoms:-

i) Need to alert supervisor immediately.


ii) Always Wear surgical mask.
iii) Seek medical treatment immediately.
iv) Avoid contact with fellow employees
6.0 MOVEMENT CONTROL ROUTING OF SITE AND CLQ LAYOUT

7.0 PROCESS OF THE MOVEMENT CONTROL
1. Ensure prepare themselves with suitable PPE and wait at their kongsi room before go to security temperature
check point at site.
2. Employees must adhere to instruction from safety personnel's at all time during at site.
3. All workers at kongsi will be scheduled with time sheet by trade work for the them to line up for their body
temperature check at security.
4. Employees to ensure maintain social distancing (1m) and stand in line.
5. Employees prohibited to group up or come out from line on the way to respective sites.
6. Ensure move out from line according to trade and work place.
7. Display safety signage “ Temperature Check at entry points at respective site.
8. Set up location for attendance and briefing purposes by marking the floor the safe distance at least 1 meter apart.
9. Marking passenger hoist floor for safe distance.
10. All attendance system facilities to be manual attendance and all attendance must recorded with temperature
reading. (This apply to all workers, staff, consultant, Client and Authority who enter the site).
11. All participant attending briefing, training or small gathering must equipped with face mask, sanitised their hand
and maintain social distancing of minimum 1.0 meter apart throughout the session.
12. Set up with marking based on safe distance of 1.0 meter apart from one person to another person for rest area,
food consume area, meeting room and site office.
13. visitor are discouraged to enter the site during this MCO period.

12.2 CHEMICAL PROVISION

2) Hand sanitizer with alcohol contents 65% and above;
3) 3-ply surgical mask (1 mask allowable for 4 hours usage only)
4) Procuring mist spray sanitizer operated by battery and approved chemical by MOH
for sanitised workplace and material.

6) Rubber gloves for security personnel (1 pair of gloves for maximum 4 hours usage only)
7) Study should be made and add more hand washing facilities with soap at appropriate locations
8) Establish more rest areas and comply with social distancing requirements.

26.0 SUMMARY
From the outcome of the movement control measure, appropriate SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
implemented to educate workers on how to prevent themselves from the COVID – 19 diseases.
Accurate and précised counter measure routine of the movement control from the CLQ to the work site and
from the Work site to the CLQ will determine how frequent the COVID – 19 diseases will effect the workers.
Analyzed Data statistics will show the value of effected workers at the work site. Proposed Checklist plan to
be initiated to inspect if workers are following the Standard Operation Procedure. This will be good a
turnover and joint workforce of mitigating the risk in order to reduce the infection of workers and to fight the
disease of the COVID – 19 .
Presented strategies is a necessity in order to ensure continuity of site operation. Strict compliances would be a
challenges, but the result would be great in ensuring safe workforce in delivering the project without any effect
from covid-19 and also no further delays of the project.
Contractor are encourage to re-examine their Restart Plan and do necessary changes in order to comply with
this Covid- 19 Restart Plan.
