Part I. Write down 5 words which you think are related to globalization. Provide two
sentences to explain each word.
1. Modernization Each day, new methods and different other things are
introduced into the world. Because of globalization, the world is
becoming advanced each passing day.

2. Capitalism Capitalism is an economic system based on the private

ownership of the means of production and their operation for
profit. Central characteristics of capitalism include capital
accumulation, competitive markets, a price system, private
property and the recognition of property rights, voluntary
exchange and wage labor.

3. Labor Labor is the amount of physical, mental, and social effort used to

produce goods and services in an economy. It supplies the
expertise, manpower, and service needed to turn raw materials
into finished products and services.

4. Economy The production, consumption, and distribution of goods and

services are used to fulfill the needs of those living and
operating within the economy, which is also referred to as an
economic system.

5. Sustainability It means meeting our own needs without compromising the

ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In addition
to natural resources, we also need social and economic
resources.
