I.OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-
American literature and other text types serve as means
of preserving unchanging values in a changing world; also
how to use the features of a full-length play, tense
consistency, modals, active and passive constructions
plus direct and indirect speech to enable him/her
competently performs in a full-length play.
B. Performance Standards The learner competently performs in a full-length play
through applying effective verbal and non-verbal
strategies and ICT resources based on the following
criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery and Dramatic Conventions.

A. Reviewing previous lesson or Task 1: The logo
presenting the new lesson Ask the learners about the logo.
Task 7: CTP
Determine the common types of prejudices.
F. Developing Mastery Task 8: PHMT
Give more examples of Prejudice in History and
Modern Times.
G. Finding practical applications of Task 9: News Extract
concepts and skill in daily living Read the news extracts and answer what is
being asked
H. Making generalizations and Task 10: Reflect on Me
abstractions about the lesson Ask the learners “As grade 9 student, where do
you usually experience prejudice? How does
prejudice affect your daily lives?.”
