Yes because even if a person is able to familiarize himself with all the

knowledge there is available and existing about communicative strategies but

doesn't apply and practice to perfect them, then it's useless. But aside from
that, I believe yes. Knowing communicative strategies will serve as your
backbone as a speaker and will help you become more proficient, efficient,
and effective in terms of conversing.
