I am interested in a position as a health professional (undecided on a specific job) at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical
Center. I am a soon-to-be graduate and athletic scholar from El Capitan High School and have recently been
accepted to UCLA under the Biochemistry program. I believe I am the perfect candidate for this position because I
have communication skills and a great desire to help others in the medical field.

Ever since I can remember knowing anything about colleges and a future career, I have loved the idea of attending
UCLA and eventually working as a medical professional at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. I have led
many science-based group projects. I have also had the opportunity to shadow at three local doctor’s offices, so I
have an understanding of what doctors do in a day. Along with shadowing, I was a student volunteer and team leader
at Mercy Medical Center, so I am aware of what it is like to work in a hospital. In all of my science and medical
field-based experiences, I have complimented on my communication skills, how respectful I am towards others I am
helping, time management, and overall ability to work with others.

I am excited about the possibility of being part of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center team sometime in the
