ABSTRACT

India faces a Daily Power outage of 30,000 MW. The reasons for the

shortfall of proper power supply in India are breakdowns and repairs and maintenance work
of Power plants and hence large parts of the country face a power shortage of nearly 30,000
MW Currently, all the villages in India have been electrified w.e.f. 29 April 2018 but it doesn't
mean that all households are electrified. By India's own set standards, only 10% of households in
a village must have electricity for it to be considered electrified. As of August 2018, 91% of the
total households are electrified in India. Rural areas in India are electrified non-uniformly, with
richer states being able to provide a majority of the villages with power while poorer states still
struggling to do so. How long does a refrigerator keep cool without power? 4 hours If the doors
stay closed, food will stay safe for up to: 4 hours in a refrigerator.
Glycol-Water mixture, Glycol is a colorless, practically odorless, low
volatility, low-viscosity, hygroscopic liquid. It is completely miscible with water and many
organic liquids. Ethylene glycol is a chemical commonly used in many commercial and
industrial applications including antifreeze and coolant. Ethylene glycol helps keep your car's
engine from freezing in the winter and acts as a coolant to reduce overheating in the summer.
The purpose of glycol is to lower the freezing point of water. Different ratios of water-to-glycol
will result in different freezing temperatures. Using glycol properly means knowing how much
you need to use. The lower temperature you want equals a higher glycol-to-water ratio. The
mixture of Glycol-water solution is used as an insulation along with Thermocol sheet. By using
glycol water mixture as insulation for commercial refrigeration will result in better insulation by
storing the cooling effect within it and realizing when it is needed, by this type of insulation we
can achieve about 18 hours of cooling effect after a power outage.
