Module #5 - Program Design

1. What is a design document? What is included in a design for training?

 Design documentation is a collection of documents and resources that
covers all aspects of your product design. Documentation should include
information about users, product features, and project deadlines; all
essential implementation details; and design decisions that your team and
stakeholders have agreed on.

2. Customer service training involves far transfer.

a. What design features would you include in a customer service training program
to ensure that transfer of training occurred?
 Post-training, is the best design would include in a costumer service
program because it refers to transfer of training, or getting learners to apply
what they have learned to their work. Typically, most effort, attention, and
financial resources tend to be devoted to designing and choosing the
learning event itself.
b. What is a curriculum road map? Why is it important?
 Curriculum mapping aims to ensure that the assessments, tests, and other
methods teachers use to evaluate learning achievement and progress are
based on what has actually been taught to students and on the learning
standards that the students are expected to meet in a particular course,
subject area, or grade level.

3. Explain the three phases of the instructional process, which phase do you think is most
important? Why?
 The three phases of the instruction process are pre-training, the actual
learning event, and post-training. I think that the most important part is the
pre-training because that is where you want to motivate the employees to
attend the training. The most important phase is the learning phase because
if you learn something it will become easy to apply things that you need to
apply.
