    4.58 The maximum velocity of the Douglas DC‐3 (see Figs. 1.33 and 6.80) is 229 mph at an altitude of 7500 ft. 
    Calculate the Mach number of the airplane and the pressure sensed by a Pitot tube on the airplane.

    4.59 The cruising velocity of the Boeing 727 (see Fig. 5.70) is 610 mph at an altitude of 25,000 ft. Calculate the
