Chat with Nelson Syphus #1

Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ2YN_aJqRQ

For context: The team receives a text message from their supposed adversary. The phone that
they receive this from was found in an LAPD case under the stairs in the studio.

Syphus590: Answer immediately.

Syphus590: I know you still have this phone, answer immediately.

Syphus590: I have some information for you, if you answer soon.

Syphus590: We're all on the same page here, regardless of if our goals are
different. I promise, if you answer, we can reach an understanding. Use the
code [code here] to open the phone and respond.

M-Vlogs: Okay, we're listening.

Syphus590: You kept me waiting long enough.

Syphus590: I have a proposition for you.

M-Vlogs: And?

Syphus590: An exchange between sides; if you give me something that I want, I

can give you something that you want.

M-Vlogs: and what's that?

Syphus590: Don't be stupid, you're not going to have a choice the longer you
play this out. I can find another way to get what I want.

M-Vlogs: What?

Syphus590: Apologies. I think that you'll want to agree. I can give you some
information. That is what you want, right?. Answers?

M-Vlogs: But how can we know we can trust you?

Syphus590: I've seen your videos, I know you've learned small things about me.
When it comes to Syntec, I am the absolute. I can guarantee you that whatever
questions you have, I can answer.

M-Vlogs: That doesn't really answer our question. How do we know we can trust
you? You've broken into our studio and stole our property.

Syphus590: That car was originally mine. You locked it up and I just wanted it
back.

Syphus590: Just like all the other property you've gathered.

M-Vlogs: So do you want the Mountaineer back? Because at this point, I legally
own it.

Syphus590: Do you think I care about legalities at that point? Don't be a

fool.

Syphus590: Stop playing games. I'm not going to give you some sweet
proclamation of trust and unity, this is a transaction at best. If you don't
agree, I won't be so kind about getting what I want. I'm giving you a chance
here.

Syphus590: I could destroy your business in an instant if I chose, I'm

attempting to find common ground.

Syphus590: I apologize, there are just things going on that you have no idea
about. There are things there that I need to survive. I just want to have a
peaceful trade, that's all.

M-Vlogs: After everything you've done, your word means nothing to us.

Syphus590: I wouldn't be so sure. The truth is the truth, no matter who it

comes from.

M-Vlogs: Fine. Give us one moment to deliberate.

M-Vlogs: What do you want?

Syphus590: I know you found a case of vials in the wall of your "studio".
That's my personal property and I want it back.

M-Vlogs: Is that all?

Syphus590: Of course not. All of that evidence you've collected belongs to my

company, and therefore, me. You will include that as well.

Syphus590: The emulator too.

M-Vlogs: What? The emulator was sent to us in the mail.

Syphus590: It doesn't matter how you got it.

M-Vlogs: What will you be giving to us?

Syphus590: You know what you want. I know what you want. But you're going to
have to ask for it.

M-Vlogs: We know you and D somehow are connecting us to this? We know its more
than just the fact that were the next people renting out the space.

Syphus590: Seems "D" didn't bother to enlighten you on this, did they?

Syphus590: Such a shame. Regardless, if that's all you want to know, I can
tell you.
M-Vlogs: So, you want the vials, the evidence in our vault and the emulator,
in exchange for info on why we're all connected to this?

Syphus590: Yes.

M-Vlogs: Why the emulator?

Syphus590: I don't need to answer that.

M-Vlogs: It's been giving more answers than you have.

Syphus590: Would you rather I not give you a choice?

Syphus590: I don't care if your "little friend" gave you that emulator or if
your "dedicated informant" gave you some fun evidence to go over, playing
detective ends now.

Syphus590: That program is MY property and I want it back.

M-Vlogs: You're not making your case.

Syphus590: You won't need it anymore. I can give you all the information you
need on Project 863.

M-Vlogs: Okay, okay. give us a second.

M-Vlogs: We understand everything you're saying but...this is honestly so

overwhelming. We're in over our heads here...

Syphus590: That's the first intelligent thing I've heard from you.

Syphus590: Listen...I can help you make this all go away, help you understand
what's going on. In the spirit of good will, I can send you something that
will prove that I'm only looking for my property returned to me, and nothing
more. I will no longer bother your studio.

M-Vlogs: When can we expect this?

Syphus590: Check the sprinkler boxes around your building.

Syphus590: I'll be in contact. And I'll be expecting an answer.

M-Vlogs: When do you need an answer by.

Syphus590: I'll let you 'investigate' it first, and trust on my end you'll do
what's right with it. Whatever you find, send it back with me.

Syphus590: By the way, I wouldn't put too much faith in "D". I'm sure you can
piece together that I know her well, and her motivations have nothing to do
with you getting answers or staying out of harm's way.

M-Vlogs: What does that mean?
