Netflix Project

Online businesses have caused the video rental because of how much better they are.
The online companies are more convenient and have better prices and even better
selection.

Form: To watch netflix you need to use wifi and some kind of device like a Phone,T.V.
Ipad, or Computer

Place: Since netflix is an online service you can use it anywhere as long as you have
wifi and a device. You can even download films and shows on Netflix so you don't need
wifi to watch them. While you have to go to a blockbuster store to rent the movie, take it
back to your house to watch it and then take it back to the blockbuster store.

Time: You can be on netflix at any time in the day as long as you have a subscription.
Blockbuster stores have closing and opening times so it could be closed when you want
to go get a film.

Possession: To get a netflix subscription you have to use your credit card and then get
a monthly or yearly subscription. To get films from rental stores you can use all kinds of
cards.

Information: You can choose to get emails from netflix and sometimes will see
advertisements about netflix. You probably won't see any emails or advertisements from
blockbusters

States making laws that sharing Netflix passwords is illegal is a good thing for netflix. I
don't know what the punishments are so I don't know how bad they are. I also don't
know how the government will find out anybody is sharing passwords so I don't think the
law will work very well.

Before Netflix was a thing Blockbusters were a good thing and probably very convenient
to people. At the time when blockbusters were big the renting films thing was never
done before. You could just rent a movie, watch it and then take it back to the
blockbuster store. Now that Netflix is a thing the blockbusters are mostly all out of
business. The only renting type thing that is still open is redbox and it isn't even in
stores it is just in vending machine type things. Netflix has mostly taken over the movie
business because it is more convenient and overall just better than blockbusters. There
is also a newer service called Disney+ that is just like netflix but has all the disney films
and shows.
