Introduction
In our day-to-day lives, health is paramount. To do the everyday chores properly, good health is
needed. Wireless technology has grown in popularity in recent years to meet the needs of a
variety of industries. In recent times, the Internet of Things (IoT) has dominated the industrial
sector, especially in the areas of control and automation. One of the most current trends in
providing quality health services is biomedical. IoT technology has opened doors not only in
hospitals, but also in personal health-care services. As a result of having a smart machine,
various criteria that require energy, expense, and improve performance are observed.

Doctors play a vital part in clinical check-ups in the conventional system. This procedure
necessitates a significant amount of time for admission, consultation, and then check-up. Reports
are also created later. Working people prefer to miss or delay check-ups as a result of the lengthy
procedure. This modern method cuts down on the amount of time it takes to complete the task. In
recent times, use of wireless technologies has grown in response to a need to maintain different
industries.

In recent times, the Internet of Things (IoT) has engulfed the majority of the industrial sector,
especially automation and control. One of the most current trends in providing quality health
services is biomedical. IoT technology has opened doors not just in hospitals as well as in
personal health care services. As a result of having a smart machine, various parameters that
consume power, expense, and increase performance are observed.

Since so many decades, medical scientists have been working in the fields of innovation and
science to improve health care and pleasure in people's lives. Their involvement in the medical
field is important to all of us and cannot be overlooked. The roots of today's automobile systems
can be found in yesterday's fundamentals. These technologies will also aid in the early diagnosis
of chronic disorders.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a quickly evolving technology for data sharing and automation.
Sensors, cyber networks, and IoT and cloud storage are also included. Cyber systems collaborate
cooperatively over the Internet at any point to meet humans in real time. Technologies for
delivering healthcare have been made accessible thanks to developments in Internet innovation.

The Internet is an ideal platform for remote patient monitoring applications due to its network
connection and accessible access, which can facilitate the exchange of patient information and
clinical knowledge.

The study highlighted the use of wearable technology, IoT, and the cloud to track health criteria
and provide assistance in the case of an emergency. It is a conceptual approach to the issue of
contact and documentation, and it aims to solve the situation of a mentally ill patient driving a
car. Specific health monitoring programs can improve people's standard of living, particularly
the elderly.

New technology, such as wearable devices and the cloud of things, are being introduced into the
modern healthcare system. It allows for greater versatility in term of storing and transmitting
patient-monitored data through IoT. Safe data transfer is required for this link. According to the
request, the cloud service will share with user authentication. Every 5 to 10 minutes, a patient
with wearable devices upgrades his records. It changes every 1 minute in emergency situations.
The outcomes of the worn device will be sent to the phone via Bluetooth or NFC innovation.
This can be sent to a cloud server via GSM or 3G. Each patient is identified by a unique address
on the cloud server.

As a result, data in the cloud will authenticate the correct patient and fulfill the order. Need for
home-based mobile health and customized medicine is driving the evolution of telemonitoring
systems through WBAN. WBAN is capable of collecting data from sensors and recording the
results. The performance data are wirelessly transmitted to the controller for the health tracking
system. Due to its assured delay specification for health telemonitoring systems, Zigbee is used
in WBAN technology. In this case, Zigbee was used for coordination.

written by “Shivleela Patil and Dr. Sanjay Pardeshi”

The prototype, according to the study paper, aims to create a device that provides temperature of
the body and heart rate using an LM35 and a pulse sensor, separately. Such sensors are
connected to an Arduino uno board that serves as a controller. Arduino uses a wifi module to
transmit data wirelessly. On IoT platforms, such as stuff speak, the ESP8266 is used for wireless
data transfer. Thing speak is used to visualize data. So that a record of information can be kept
for a long time. This information is saved on the web site so that it can see who has signed in.

The health-care services in rural hospitals are small. Bad patient policy contributes to problems
in the health-care sector. All can learn as much as they can about their own health as soon as
possible. It should also be worthwhile for each. According to a recent study by The India Spend
data review, India has a 500,000 shortage of doctors.

The WHO recommends a doctor-to-patient ratio of 1:1000, which India has yet to achieve. In
developed nations, there are inadequate personnel and administration to solve individual issues.
A average man cannot afford to get his health checked on a regular basis because it is too costly.
Various systems have been designed for this purpose in order to provide a simple and reliable
care unit. Through properly treated tools, this machine saves time.  The temperature of the body,
heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rate are the most important factors in determining the
severity of the disease. Using IoT, the project provides temperature and heart rate
readings[ CITATION Pat18 \l 2057 ].

The concept of an actual health management device that can store a patient's specific health
specifications is presented in this paper. The information can be sent to a healthcare professional
as a warning and monitored across various channels. Currently, healthcare facilities only provide
a single means of connectivity – most often, GSM or data access via a web browser. Through
communicating multimode data over three types – BLE (mobile app), GSM (messaging
services), and Wi-Fi – the proposed patient management system improves health care (Internet).

Clinical experiments have been conducted, and evidence has been gathered to provide insight on
the current scheme. The data was gathered under physician observation in order to determine the
concept's technical viability in comparison to current remote surveillance systems. Clinical
experiments were carried out in our city's hospitals. Owing to the study's restrictions on sharing
patient records, the trials were limited to a few hospitals. Clinicians were apprehensive about
doing the trials on their patients because of concerns about secrecy and ethical problems. It is
assured that coordination occurs in all three modes throughout data collection. By comparing the
transmitted data to traditional approaches, the clinicians assisted in validating the information.

With the widespread use of ubiquitous electronics such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and
PCs, the infrastructure solves core questions and concerns relating to healthcare deficiencies. It
improves optimal healthcare quality by allowing patients and physicians to communicate in a
variety of ways. The RPi3 Model B is used for the primary hardware sections. To address the
problems, health tracking sensors and wireless networking (BLE, Wi-Fi, and GSM) are
combined. The validity of the data collected is constrained by the sensors' accuracy. When one of
the three means of communicating fails, the other two aim to reduce the chance of losing track of
a patient.

The user interface of the smartphone application program is used to display data on mobile and
tablet computers. To access data on a webpage, a model web application program with a cloud
database framework was established. Data required to define the patient's critical health criteria
is sent via SMS to a clinician's registered cell phone. This research is backed up by data analysis
in order to accurately measure the variables as well as the other advantages of multiplexed
multimode communications[ CITATION Swa19 \l 2057 ].

3. Research Article: Monitoring Health Care System using Internet of Things - An

Immaculate Pairing Written by Veena Tripathi, Faizan Shakeel,

After reviewing various research papers, it has been discovered that detecting abnormalities in a
patient's pulse count is extremely difficult. The average heart rate in 25-year-olds is between 140
and 170 beats per minute, while it is between 115 and 140 beats per minute in 60-year-olds.
Patients are dissatisfied with the care that physicians often use to determine the number of
heartbeats. As a result, a system to monitor internal alterations body is needed. Hossaina et. al
[ CITATION Hos16 \l 1033 ] demonstrated that the new Internet of Things (IoT) innovations for
integrated medical sensors and devices have played a critical role during the next healthcare
market for providing high-quality patient care. With all the the number of elderly people, a
significant health surveillance system for analysing clinicians' national healthcare data is critical
in order to avoid avoidable diseases. Wearables [ CITATION Pat12 \l 1033 ] are used to keep
track of patients and collect data for drug testing and scholarly articles. Fitness and wellness
wearables are now used as clinical tools. This is in line with a growing trend of including
physical exercise as a heart rhythm category. According to study, the rapid adoption of wearable
devices and mobile phones, as well as Internet of Things-enabled software, is changing
healthcare services from a traditional hub-based model to a more personalised system (PHS).
PHS would allow for quicker and safer preventive care, as well as significantly lower costs,
greater patient-centered practise, including effective alternatives. IoT-enabled PHS can be
realised by supplying each person with highly personalised access to richer health information
and successful medical verdict by saving and reusing data. However, given the scarcity of cost-
effective and reliable intelligent health sensors used in IoT systems, allowing the usefulness of
IoT powered technology in PHS represents a big challenge.
Suhas [ CITATION Kalch \l 1033 ] the physiological factors like temperature, pulse rate, and
ECG are collected, analysed to use an ARM7 LPC 2138 machine, and presented and use a
graphical interface, according to his paper. If any of the critical parameters deviates from the
usual range, a text message would be sent to the doctor's phone.

4. A Review: Health Monitoring Systems using IoT and Raspberry Pi Written by Vivek
Pardeshi, Saurabh Sagar Swapnil Murmurwar Pankaj Hage

Health issues are rising at an unprecedented rate in today's world. The death rate of 55.3
thousand individuals per year, or 151,600 people per day, or 6316 people per hour, is a major
concern for people throughout the world. As a result, resolving such issues is critical. As a result,
we propose a shift in wireless sensor technology by developing a device that includes several
wireless sensors that receive data on human body temp, blood pressure, sodium level, pulse rate,
and other parameters. This will certainly be distributed on an IoT network that the user may
access through the internet. A searchable database of the patient's medical history is developed,
which can be tracked and analysed by the doctor if appropriate. The storage space can be
indefinitely executed on the internet or reset through software. This article suggests a health
monitoring system able to detect and distributing multiple body variables like glucose levels,
temperature, heart rate, and ECG to either an IoT server using 2G/3G/4G GSM technological.
In the event of an event, physicians and family members will receive automatically produced
warnings if any suspicious behaviour is observed by or near the patient. A consistent database of
body patient condition could be used to more effectively diagnose disease. People today are
more concerned with disease prevention and early detection. Furthermore, newest model cell
phone technology and services have a major effect on the advancement of network forms (3G,
Bluetooth, wireless LAN, GSM), among others. The AD8232 ECG sensor is being used for
mobile ECG control, as well as the heart rate sensor (4811) has been used to calculate diastolic
and systolic pressures as well as pulse rate for several seconds. The LM35 temperature sensor is
often used to determine the temperature of the surface of the skin.
While satisfactory work has been done in monitoring systems using the Raspberry Pi and IoT,
this paper provides an embedded definition of both platforms. The suggested technique would be
more successful if these elements are combined. We looked at recent publications on health
monitoring systems and IoT throughout this paper. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a cutting-edge

interconnection of products and systems that removes the need for human interaction in order to
live a good life. This article, by explaining advances in management support technology, will
save people from potential health complications and will assist doctors in taking appropriate
steps or decisions about their patients' health also at proper moment.

5. Real time Cloud Computing Based COVID-19 Health Monitoring System using IOT
with integration of Machine Learning Approach to Create Safety Environment
Written By P.Dileep, Maanasa Thogaru

When individuals go over to the doctor for just a physical examination, the doctor takes into
account not just the usual static as well as physiological state measures, as well as the person's
actual medical problem. This source of information, which IoT technology provides, is used to
make decisions about patient disorders. This form of technology is used by doctors to diagnose
and treat patients' epidemic on, with the aim of increasing human life expectancy [ CITATION
Ernry \l 1033 ]. This cutting-edge technology has had a significant impact on the healthcare
sector, lowering medical costs and improving diagnosis pace and accuracy. According to current
technical trends, a routine physical examination could be followed by 2 or 3 days of consistent
biomedical one-to-one treatment utilizing reduced sensors [ CITATION Fra10 \l 1033 ]. During
this time, electronic detectors were also used to monitor vital signs of biological restrictions,
submit a note to the doctor/patient, then archive all of the data on a remote server. Health
organizations now generate a vast amount of data as a result of the advancement of modern
health systems. This information is used to build a statistical analytical framework. Machine
learning (ML) is a technique for processing data from a variety of sources and condensing it into
helpful data. The most recent application of machine learning is the identification and prediction
of illnesses, which has been the subject of many studies As a result, in this chapter, we'll look at
a few different machine learning algorithms and see how we forecast heart disease. The health
monitoring device incorporated with IoT with diverse operational sensors and Arduino
microprocessors is explained in the remaining portion of this chapter structure. Sensors are used
in this modern innovation to gather data from multiple locations on the body, analysis the
information, and enable two-way interaction from either a client to a doctor anywhere else in the
planet.
