Las Vegas, Nevada is more than just the gambling, the casinos, and the entertainment spots you

usually
see at night. What the media does not say about Las Vegas is that it is friendly to all ages of the family,
and that there are other sites you will enjoy as well. One of these sites where you get to bring the whole
family together or your wholesome date would be the Centennial Hills Park.

Centennial Hills Park is a huge park which spans to over 120 hectares. Aside from the vast area it
occupies, there is also a historical value to which it is built over. It is built over a historic inverted
riverbed – the last of its kind from among a network of channels that once ran through the area.

The park is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, particularly those that are erected on its playground.
It features several giant versions of art, animal-like facilities, and other usual playground facilities such as
your slides and seesaws. It is definitely one of the best places for kids to enjoy. They may also get to
meet and befriend other kids as it is a favorite site for parents and their kids.

The park also features other amenities as well. For sports enthusiasts, volleyball courts and soccer fields
are available to use in the park. There is also a lot of space where you can have your picnic dates or
picnic gatherings with the family. Trails are also available for jogging or walking. These trails are very
interesting and educational as each area is provided with a sign narrating its historical significance. In
fact, you can even take your dog to these trails.

Centennial Hills Park is but a proof that there are many things to do in Las Vegas, Nevada, and not just
your casinos and slot machines. The Park is definitely a breath of fresh air for everyone looking for a
break.
