Seismic behavior of full-scale steel reinforced recycled

concrete columns under high axial compression ratio.

To promote the application of recycled concrete in structural elements, the

effects of coarse recycling, aggregate replacement rate (RCA) and internal steel
bars on the seismic performance of high-strength recycled concrete under high
ratios were studied. Of compression. The low frequency cyclic loading test was
performed on 6 cylinders, including 3 of reinforced recycled concrete (SRRC)
and 3 of reinforced recycled concrete (RRC) with a cross section of 600mm x
600mm.
The results show that RRC has higher resistance. The column with a high axial
compression ratio has reliable seismic performance. The addition of internal
steel can improve the seismic performance of RRC columns, especially for
samples with high RCA replacement rates. The RCA replacement rate does not
have a significant effect on the loading capacity and ductility of the SRRC
chromatographic column, but for the RRC chromatographic column, it slightly
reduces the loading capacity and power consumption. When the sample is
damaged, the ribs and wing-shaped parts in the compression zone yield, while
the ribs in the tension zone are close to yielding.

Based on the assumed plane and considering the containment effect of the
abutment and the concrete provided by the steel, the cracking load, the yield
load and the maximum load are calculated, and the calculated values are
consistent with the experimental values. This research provides a reference for
the high-strength application of recycled concrete columns in real projects.
