My Fitness Journey

First Try: Cardiovascular Endurance
Current: 11

Reasoning: The first testing of burpees were outside. I did


not put a lot of effort into my burpees.

Reasoning- I had shoes that kept slipping. I know I could


put more effort into them if I wanted to.

Reasoning: I was very happy with my first testing. I did very well with the
flexibility test which was something I was surprised to learn.

Reasoning: I was able to push myself a little further this


time. I’m almost at the top of the line.

Reasoning: I am happy with my score I was able to get to my goal of


holding my weight which is 125
First Try: Muscular Endurance
Current: .38 seconds

Reasoning:

My legs started to get tired really quick. I know I can push


myself more for the wall sit. I want to improve my score.

Fitness Journey Reflection
This year we were tested on flexibility, wall sit, and burpees. I had heard of
burpees before but never tried doing any before. The burpees felt weird doing
at school, I didn't put a lot of effort into them or the wall sit. The wall sit I
struggled with most. I only improved little by little. In the future I will learn
from this and be sure to push myself more often. My last wall sit test I tried
harder and passed my goal! I had never done a flexibility test, I was very
happy with my results. Throughout my journey my goal was to get to the
highest measurement(19). My final test I hit 19! The test taught me that
putting extra effort into things will pay off. Now I know how to work towards
my goals in the future, and learn from my goal setting skills from my fitness
journey. Moving forward I will increase my goals to push myself more instead
of setting one that would be easy to attain.
