 5. What is the difference between a request for quotation (RFQ) and a request for proposal
(RFP)?

RFP (request for proposal) and RFQ (request for qualifications), which is focused for basic
physical procurement, and is a process where a receiver of the solution and a sender interact;
then for this case the resources are analyzed based on their cost per unit and is valued according
to their specifications, which makes it different from any other product.
in the case of RFP, it is used to buy services, where the sender requests a service and the receiver
must state the quantity, quality, time, cost and general conditions of his proposal and that at the
end it is sent to sender to a subsequent approval. in both cases, the figures do not include the
concept of non-binding, that is to say, by starting any of the two figures, no link or responsibility
is generated immediately, until one of the two cases are approved.
